Grumbling Start

“Come let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you would hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah.” Psalm 95:6-8a

“Therefore the people quarreled with Moses and said, ‘Give us water that we may drink.’ And Moses said to them, ‘Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the Lord?’—And he named the place, ‘Massah and Meribah because of the quarrel of the sons of Israel, and because they tested the Lord saying, ‘Is the Lord among us, or not?’” Exodus 17:2 & 7

We all are weak enough to want things our way; to trust our own judgment. We also fall to the temptation to “know” what God wants for us. God’s plan is perfect and even when EVERYTHING seems wrong, He has not looked away for a moment and forgotten what is going on. He is watching to see the attitude of our hearts regarding Him.

Run to God's Word. Take care. Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene

PS: Please pray for the women you know this week who do so much and sometimes stand alone.
