Ezekiel 36:24-28 Song (NKJV)
"A New Heart, A New Spirit" (Esther Mui)
[God speaking] “’And her prophets have smeared whitewash
for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says
the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.
“’The people of the land have practiced oppression and
committed robbery, and they have wronged the poor and the needy and have
oppressed the sojourner without justice.
“’And I searched for a man among them who should build up
the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy
it; but I found no one.
“’Thus I have poured our My indignation on them; I have
consumed them with the fire of My wrath; their way I have brought upon their
heads,’ declares the Lord God.” Ezekiel 22:28-31
THREE – Future justice - Just wait! God is going to come down hard on all those
sinners. Karma is a Hindu doctrine that
applies a mathematical precision to belief.
It calculates that one individual soul may have to be reincarnated
6,800,000 times to realise their god’s perfect justice. At the end of all those incarnations each
person will experience exactly the amount of pain and pleasure the he or she
deserves.
There are times we all long for God to stamp out injustice,
pain, sorrow, confusion and suffering.
We wonder why He is missing so much of what is going on. Sometimes we may have a secret delight when
someone ‘gets what we think they deserve’.
God doesn’t miss a thing and His ways are perfect, even when
He is drawing a world of individuals to Him.
He is all powerful and all-knowing and the end is as much in His hands
at the beginning was. Our part is to be
ready to ‘stand in the gap’ when He calls.
Take care, your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene (who
prays for you each morning.)
