Growing Pains Hurt...but...

"For if He causes grief, then He will have compassion according to His abundant lovingkindness.  For He does not afflict willingly, or grieve the sons of men." Lamentations 3:33

"'He knows exactly what we need and how to supply it...His training is no random work.  It is carried on with exquisite skill.' [Horatius Bonar, Ibid.]

"God knows us better than we know ourselves.  Every adversity that comes across our path, whether large or small, is intended to help us grow in some way."*

With all His power, with His control over all things, it is with His all knowing heart and all loving heart that the Lord brings out of us the best we are through adversity and through blessing, as He grows us into the image of His beloved Son.

"The Lord's lovingkindnesses, indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.  The Lord is my portion,' says my soul, therefore I have hope in Him.'"Lamentations 3:22-25

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
