Building Blocks?

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is now law.  Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

"If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.  Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another."  Galatians 5:22-25

"But then adversity comes.....The growth in Christian character we thought had occurred in our lives seems to vanish like a vapour.  We feel as if we are back in spiritual kindergarten again.  But through this experience God has revealed to us some of the remaining corruption within us."*

Adversity is not a road block, but a building block.  When you see it that way, it makes the journey along the road easier.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
