Sin Foundations - Plotting

"And they said to one another, 'Here comes this dreamer!  Now then, come and let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits; and we will say, 'A wild beast devoured him.'  Then let us see what will become of his dreams!'"

When things do not go or are not going according to our plan, it might be better to stop and consider what lesson there may be in what is happening.  Surely the brothers of Joseph were comparing themselves with Joseph and with how their father saw him as opposed to them, yet, God had a plan in all this...it was up to the brothers to trust God and know there was a reason.

"Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.  See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; that there be no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal." Hebrews 12:14-16

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
