Sin Foundations - Out of Sight

"So it came about, when Joseph reached his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the varicoloured tunic that was on him; and they took him and threw him into the pit.  Now the pit was empty, without any water in it.  Then they sat down to eat a meal"  Genesis 37:23-25a

We know when something is wrong and we also know that we can pretend to bury things, hoping that once out-of-sight and out-of-mind, it is also no longer an issue.  But that never works!  That's when we need to pull out the "Spiritual Soap".

"If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us."  I John 1:8-10

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
