Keep Moving Me Closer!

“My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep My commandments; for length of days and years of life, and peace they will add to you.  Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.  So you will find favour and good repute in the sight of God and man.

“Trust in the Lord with all you heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.  Do not be wise in your own eyes.  Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.  It will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones.  Honour the Lord from your wealth, and from the first of all your produce, so your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.” Proverbs 3:1-10

“What is more, in the process of guiding us, God is under no obligation to explain what He is doing. – when God gives you a vision of His purpose for your life, it is that you might still believe it when the going is tough and it all seems impossible!

“But as we awake each morning we can turn to the Lord Jesus Christ with thankful anticipation that this day is in His hands, and that God has purposes to unfold that re good, perfect and pleasing.”*

That is what trust is about...not that you always understand what He is doing in your life, but that you move a bit closer to the Father each day you walk with Him.  The way you move closer is by trusting Him more.  To trust Him more you need to walk with Him and learn of Him a little more every minute; and then makes choices that draw you even closer.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
