“Is anyone among you suffering?  Then he must pray.  Is anyone cheerful?  He is to sing praises.  Is anyone among you sick?  Then he must call for the elders of the church and are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed.  The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” James 5:13-16

I need your help with the Prayer List.  There are many requests that I have not had an update for in ages.

Our prayers are so important to the Lord and I long to be faithful with the requests you share with me.  When you share a request, I typically continue to post it until you ask for it to be taken down (as it has been answered or is no longer relevant) or provide updates of God’s progress with the request.

These updates are so important!  They help others feel engaged and encouraged -- in both praying, requesting and updating the prayer list for the future.

For those of you who also read the WeakDay Devotion on line, you will see that only the ‘new prayer requests’ are listed.  That is because it would be too long to post for most to read.  Nevertheless, I need you to review any of your requests to ensure they are still worded correctly and or provide an update.

However, if you would like to be one of the faithful prayer warriors who pray through the entire list regularly, please ask to be added to the email distribution list.  You can do that easily by sending me an email (dd.richard@bigpond.com) or if on line at the blogsite, just add your request in the comments box, which is there for you to ask questions or add comments if you wish.  All comments are reviewed and I will be faithful to respond.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you daily)

PS:  Find my statement of faith:  https://especiallyhislove.blogspot.com  (where you will also find a series of beginner Bible studies to share). You can easily find the WeakDay Devotion online by doing a Google search for ‘WeakDay Devotion’.  (Also, there is an android ‘Google Blogger’ app you can download to read them on your phone.  Not sure about Apple.).  For the books, go to Amazon books.

·      Pray for true, Christ-centered revival in America.

Pray for those in full-time service

Pray the Lord uphold our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word and remain bold and courageous in the face of evil.  Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health.  Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.

Pray for the World
