I believe that none of us can imagine the magnificence of
eternal life. The video above and the Scriptures
below can help us KNOW the facts to rest on for the blessing of our future with
our Saviour.
1. We
can walk in newness of life
“Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature;
the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” II Corinthians
5:17
“Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism
into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory
of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4
2. We
can walk in the light of righteousness
“Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the
light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall
have the light of life.’” John 8:12
3. We
have the water and bread of life
[Jesus teaching] “’Blessed are those who hunger and
thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.’” Matthew 5:6
“Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life; he who
comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.’”
John 6:35
4. We
have abundant life
[Jesus teaching] “’The thief comes only to steal, and
kill and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it
abundantly.’” John 10:10
5. We
have a new love for the souls of others
“Do all things without grumbling or disputing; that you may
prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach
in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation among whom you appear as
lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of
Christ I may have cause to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in
vain.” Philippians 2:14-16
“Do not marvel, brethren, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into
life, because we love our brethren. He who
does not love abides in death.” I John 3:13-14
“With the new life of Christ stirring in our hearts, old
things of sin and things that are questionable will begin to drop off.[1]”
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS (any updates?)
· Tonga – volcanic explosion and tsunami – destroying one third of the island, unknown number
of deaths. The island is without water,
normal services, communication and further damages continuing. Please pray for those on the island and all
those rushing to aid those left behind.
· Mark – a wonderful gardener who keeps my yard
looking amazing was struck in the side of the jaw by a huge beam (an
accident). The jaw was broken. However, it was an area that had been treated

relief from the pain and to get his jaw fixed has been an ongoing adventure. Progress is finally being made. He is a Christian and needs your prayers for
healing and to sustain he and his family through this time.
· Christians in Afghanistan – Many Christians went to this country to
share the Good News to many who would never have heard of Jesus. These leaders and baby Christians are now in
heightened danger and need your prayers to protect them and sustain them during
this time.

·
Family of Eric – Eric at 52 died suddenly leaving his 47-year-old

trustworthy, honourable, Bible-based councilors for the many decisions that now
must be made.
· Peyton - eldest granddaughter of Jeff and
Rachael – now in her second year of college.
Please continue to pray for her that she does well, makes good decisions
and continues having a good relationship with the Lord.

Adam –
please pray for his strength and peace as he pursues new job possibilities and
that the Lord will guide him clearly in his decisions and to know without doubt
the depth of forgiveness; and that his wife will be the loving supporter he
badly needs.

faithful and kind wife. Thank you for
praying for her. She needs prayers to
sustain her and protect her health and energy during this time of additional
stress and challenge at work.

carers to find ways to manage the symptoms and heal her.

Hans –
a dear friend in Germany, the cancer seems to be stable for now. Pray for his financial situation to improve
and for his ongoing strength through the pain when it comes. Pray for his patience and God’s mercy. Pray for his healthcare providers and that he

him through this journey. Pray for his
Mom (age 84) who is also unwell -- that their time together is filled with
extraordinary good memories and lots of love.
·
Callilah
- a lost child. Pray the Lord will
capture her heart.
Pray for those in full-time service
Pray to uphold our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word, are bold and courageous in the face of evil. Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.
Pray for those with ongoing health concerns
Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health. Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.
