How Do I Know If I Am Saved?
Real Truth. Real Quick
“ …but whenever a person turns in repentance and faith to
the Lord, the veil of blindness is taken away.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there
is liberty, emancipation from bondage – true freedom.
“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in
a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His
image from one degree of glory to even more glory, which comes from the Lord,
who is the Spirit.” I Corinthians 3:16-18
“Let your character, your moral essence, your inner
nature be free from the love of money – shun greed – be financially ethical,
being content with what you have; for He has said, ‘I will never under any
circumstances desert you nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor
will I in any degree leave you helpless, nor will I forsake or let you down or
relax My hold on you, assuredly not!’” Hebrews 13:5
“It is a serious thing to remember that we are indwelt by
the Holy Spirit. Our life must be
holy. But we cannot be holy by
ourselves; only the indwelling Christ can give us victory over sin and the
Devil.
“The Spirit of God never leaves the believer. The Holy Spirit is in us and will be with us
forever. We drag His name in the dust
when we sin. This alone is reason enough
why a Christian should be holy.[1]”
That takes some serious thinking and thanksgiving! Many people believe they can ‘clean
themselves up’ and are supposed to, before they reach out to the Lord Jesus
Christ, but He never hesitates to take the hand of anyone, even if that hand is
muddy and caked with the dirt of sin.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)
