“For you have need of patient endurance to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising, so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised.

“’For yet in a very little while, he who is coming will come, and will not delay.  But My righteous one, the one justified by faith shall live by faith, respecting man’s relationship to God and trusting Him; and if he draws back, shrinking in fear, my soul has no delight in him.’

“But our way is not that of those who shrink back to destruction, but we are of those who believe relying on God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah and by this confident faith preserve and soul.

“Now faith is the assurance, title deed, confirmation of things hoped for divinely guaranteed, and the evidence of things not seen, the conviction of their reality – faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses.  For by this kind of faith the men of old gained divine approval.

“By faith, that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God, we understand that the worlds, universe, ages, were framed and created, formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.” Hebrews 10:36-11:3

The passage in Hebrews lists key individuals who demonstrated that you can survive the fog of the unknown in your life and in the lives of those you love -- with faith.  With faith, we become stronger as we increasingly understand that what we are experiencing, witnessing or feeling is not the whole story.  God’s perspective is not our perspective.

What He sees of the unseen world is as solid and trustworthy as the visible world we see.  God deserves our trust even when it looks like the world is caving in.  He died to save you -- there was no other way.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you each day)

Pray for those in full-time service

Pray to uphold our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word, are bold and courageous in the face of evil.  Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health.  Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.

Pray for the World
