You'll Never Walk Alone

“My son, if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, so that your ear is attentive to skilful and godly wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding and seeing it conscientiously and striving for it eagerly; yes, if you cry out for insight, and lift up your voice for understanding;

“if you seek skilful and godly wisdom as you would silver and search for her as you would hidden treasures; then you will understand the reverent fear of the Lord, that is worshipping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome, and discover the knowledge of God.

“For the Lord gives skilful and godly wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.  He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous – those who are in right standing with Him; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity – those of honourable character and moral courage,

“He guards the paths of justice; and He preserves the way of His saints.  Then you will understand righteousness and justice in every circumstance and integrity and every good path.  For skilful and godly wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.”  Proverbs 2:1-10 - The Amplified Bible

Scientists and scholars dig and dig trying to ‘unravel’ all of Creation in an effort to explain away God.  Archaeologists explore and also dig and dig to either find or refute proof that God exists; and He exists as the Bible explains.

You and I search the Scriptures to see if we can understand God and all He is doing in our lives.  Yet, sometimes it is more like stepping haltingly through dense fog.  Perhaps, that is the important lesson we can take from the book of Job -- that God does His best work in our lives when we choose to trust Him for our good … and His glory.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays with and for you each day)

·      Isaias and Judith (Ambassadors for Christ the Philippines) – the Philippines is a remarkably difficult mission field and Isaias, Judith and their entire family have maintained a teaching and discipling ministry there for dozens of years.  They are both facing serious health issues and need your fervent prayers, especially Judith right now, who is in much pain.  Please visit their new website:  https://afcph.org/ to learn more.  Pray our Father keep these servants strong and restores their health.  They need funds ($12,000 for the surgery) badly now.  Or take a moment to send encouragement to Isaias Catorce, who teaches and leads the groups at icatorce@gmail.com

Pray for those in full-time service

Pray to uphold our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word, are bold and courageous in the face of evil.  Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health.  Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.

Pray for the World
