" Alone With God & His Word"

"'This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

"'Have I not commanded you, 'Be strong and courageous!  Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord YOUR God is with you wherever you go.'" Joshua 1:8-9

"All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." II Timothy 3:16-17

"Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.  And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry.

"And the tempter came and said to Him, 'If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.'  "But He answered and said, 'It is written, 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.''" Matthew 4:1-4

If you are not making time for reading the Word as your daily bread and meditating on what it says to you; if you are not hiding God's Word in your hearts regularly, how can you KNOW the Truth or KNOW when something you are hearing or seeing is True?

Success in the Lord is growing in your walk and strength so you are strong in knowing what you know you know and ready always to share the hope within you that has changed and directs your life!

(( Please remember to send me prayer updates. ))

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST?

  • ·        UPDATE - Adrian - The pain continues.  He sent me a beautiful phone text, praising the Lord for what little he has in his life.  He will go to hospital for the dental extractions soon.  His stomach pain has flared up again.  He can barely eat.  Update regarding cancer treatments on 29 April.  He asks for "more prayer than usual."  He is very stressed and very tired. Pray Shane, Carol and Stewart McClelland, awaken to his struggle in a way they will MAKE time for him.  Please do not grow weary of praying for him.
  • ·        Donald Trump - the new USA President.  If ever there was a time to pray for an individual, it is now!  No matter whom you voted for or wanted as President, it is our responsibility as Christians to remember God has a plan through this man.  Pray someone helps him understand the true meaning of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that he will have someone to regularly disciple him.  So much depends on it.
