Your Masterpiece - Ashmont Hill (with lyrics)

[Jesus sharing] "'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.

"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.'" John 3:16-118

"And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Hebrews 9:22

..."though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:7b-8

Jesus did not go to the Cross as an extra failsafe, knowing we were able to turn our lives around, to fix what was wrong or that we are capable of making up for our mistakes, our disbelief and crankiness, our internal and external anger and dissatisfactions, etc..

He had compassion and a love that passes all understanding for you and me - each one of us!  He chose to die because God's justice is only satisfied by the shedding of blood and there was not enough blood in all the animals He created to make up for our serial sinfulness.

Paying for the sin of every individual who lives took the extraordinary act of sacrifice of God's only Son to redeem us - to pay the full and perfect price for each one of our "mistakes" and "bad choices" and -- well, all the excuses we have for choosing to do what is right in our own lives!

None of us is worthy of His grace!  Yet, each of us is OFFERED this as a gift.  It is our ultimate choice if we believe and trust in Him and what He has done for us!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene
