Weaving Messes and Mistakes

[Jesus teaching] "'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the would should be saved through Him.

"'He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

"'And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil.  For everyone who does evil hates light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.  But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.'" John 3:16-21

"Then I will make up [to be complete, sound, whole, entering into a state of completeness] to you for the years that the swarming locusts has eaten." Joel 2:25

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

You grow up with more "Nos" than "Yeses", from parents to teachers, to Sunday School preachers.  Yet, try as you might, the "Nos" attract you like light attracts a moth.  Once you've made a decision to "drive off the road" toward your own desires, you might think you have no way back; that you are lost forever...that there is no hope.

Is this where you must sit for the rest of your life, in the puddle of your guilt, shame and discontentment?  Not if you have entrusted your life to the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Your Father God will forgive any mistake, misadventure or gross sin.  In fact, He does far more that forgive.  He chooses not to REMEMBER your sin and weaves the loose ends of your bad choices into His personal plan for you.  He does this for your good and His glory because His love is unfathomable.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene (Please note the prayer updates, in red and if you have some updates, I need them!)
