Are We Zombies?

"And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.  And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

"And those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.  And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on earth." Revelation 11:7-10

Look around.  See how the Church is being compromised and marginalised?  How people of true faith in the saving grace of Jesus Christ are growing confused about their contribution and place in the modern world?

Nation's values are eroding.  Compromises are made for what is hoped to be political correctness.  Fear in the heart of believers grows and we are increasingly seen as radical -- the enemy, with no solutions.  Evil, on the other hand, is so normal today we do not even notice it.

Perhaps Good Faith Christians are growing to be more like the popular zombies featured in many TV series and films.  They walk straight in one direction, do not see anything around them.  They do not look left or right.  They walk over others, ignoring everything around them.  They are dead or dying inside and deteriorating outside.

In Revelation we see God's two witness (the Church and those called to speak up) given great powers, exercising those powers for a while and then stopping.  They are then destroyed and celebrated.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene
