A Little Training Gift For You Today!

Please take five minutes and 40 seconds to watch this video.
It will remind you of your own salvation; most of all,
it will help you learn the tools you need to share your faith with another.
Do not let an opportunity to share Jesus Christ with someone
because you are not prepared with the basics!

"And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four  horns of the golden altar which is before God, one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, 'Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.'

"And the four angels who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they might kill a third of mankind.  And the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them." Revelation 9:13-16

"'But I gave you also cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in all your places, yet you have not returned to Me.' declares the Lord, 'And furthermore, I withheld the rain from you while there were still three months until harvest.

"I smote you with scorching wind and mildew; and the caterpillar was devouring your many gardens and vineyards, fig trees and olive trees; yet you have not returned to Me,' declares the Lord.

"'I sent a plague among you after the manner of Egypt; I slew your young men by the sword along with your captured horses, and I made the stench of your camp rise up in your nostrils; yet you have not returned to Me,' declares the Lord." Amos 4:6-12

I used to love this passage because of the reference to the two hundred million fighting men and would search for statistics for the countries with that big an army.  It was either China or Russia.

However, we can get distracted by the vague and suggestive details of Revelation, and miss the purpose of the book itself.  That is to bring us into line with the will of the Lord Jesus Christ as He fights and works to bring others into His family by saving grace.

Our part in this REAL war is critical....will you take time to review how you might share your faith with someone this week?

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene
