Where's the Fairy Tale?!

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

"Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.  Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

"No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it." I Corinthians 10:10-13

"God's infinite wisdom then is displayed in bringing good out of evil, beauty out of ashes.  It is displayed in turning all the forces of evil that rage against His children into good for them.  But the good that He brings about is often different from the good we envision!"*

Fairy tales fool us into believing there has to be a "happily ever after" in every mess we find ourselves; yet God IS bringing about a good ending that fits within His play for our lives and for the lives of those around us.  The challenge comes with trusting Him to know better than we do what IS good for us and what it is that brings HIM glory.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
