He Knows.

“No temptation or trial has overtaken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tried or tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.” I Corinthians 10:13

“But remember this – the wrong desires that come into your life aren’t anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it, for He has promised this and will do what He says. He will show you how to escape temptation’s power so that you can bear up patiently against it.” I Corinthians 10:13 The Living Bible

“’Our present life feels like a real fight – as if there were something really wild in the universe which we, with all our idealities and faithfulnesses, are needed to redeem.’ – William James, The Will to Believe

“’I had far rather walk, as I do, in daily terror of eternity, than feel that this was only a children’s game in which all the contestants would get equally worthless prizes in the end.’ – T. S. Elliot”

We need to be constantly reminded that we are NOT alone in our struggles and our moments of fear and weakness. That is what is so amazing about being His child...He IS there beside us, sometimes holding us in a hug and sometimes just carrying us through what we see as the worst that could happen. He knows.

Take care with love, especially His! Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
