Jealous Christians

“For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren – that there are quarrels among you. Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying, ‘I am of Paul,.’ And ‘I of Apollos,’ and ‘I of Cephas, and ‘I of Christ.’ Has Christ been divided?” I Corinthians 1:11-13a

“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:4-7

“What YOU think about God and believe about God matters – really matters – as much as anything in life matters.” Some Christians are paralysed by their life circumstances and the state of their walk with the Father. They compare themselves with “better Christians” who apply the extravagant promises of faith more determinedly. They blame themselves for their weak faith and failures. Yet God loves you personally. He saved you by HIS sacrifice. He is working HIS will in your life for HIS purposes. His main purpose for you is to have you keep your eyes on HIM while He works in your life to grow you into the image of His beloved Son! It just takes trust!
