Proof of the Pudding

“And God sent me before you to reserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to keep you alive by a great deliverance. Now therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt. – And as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.” Genesis 45:7-8, 50:20

‘Disappointment With God’ is a book of theology about the nature of God and why He sometimes acts in puzzling ways and sometimes does not act at all (well that we know or see)! Yet, we live in a world where seeing is believing, where the proof of the pudding is in the eating of it. Yet, God does not have to prove anything or demonstrate His powers in any extraordinary way for His children to remember just how much change His love, forgiveness and grace has changed our hearts’ desires and futures.

“And we KNOW that God causes ALL things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Take care to understand His Word. Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
