Source of Wisdom

“The works of His hands are Truth and Justice; all His precepts are sure. They are upheld forever and ever; they are performed in truth and uprightness. He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.” Psalm 111:7-10

To be wise in the Lord you must first realize and acknowledge that you are not the source of wisdom; that wisdom doesn’t come from earthly pursuits at “education” but through Him. When you know this, there is a reverential fear that covers you with awe for your Father.

Stay near God's Word. Take care. Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene

PS: Now that the holidays are over, we return to the Psalms series. Please pray for all those who spend most of the year almost forgotten by others and are overwhelmed with “general” love during this time. They are now feeling the isolation harder.
