By One for Israel (9 min 41 sec)

“How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!  How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit!

“When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long.  For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer.

“I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord’; and You forgave the guilt of my sin.

“Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.  You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; you surround me with the songs of deliverance.

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.  Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, otherwise they will not come near to you.

“Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.  Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; and shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.” Psalm 32:7

The video is a very moving testimony that will resonate with anyone who has had a difficult life.  I share it to remind us that today is the day of the Lord.  All of us are like the broken shards of glass bottles her friend shared with her.  Broken glass, tossed away for our sin choices -- into the darkness and emptiness of our own selfish ways.

Yet the Lord polishes us into beautiful jewels.  And He calls us to a new life of hope where we are hidden behind the sacrifice of God’s only, beloved Son, Jesus Christ.  Like the churning of the ocean polishing glass, God makes our lives beautiful for our good and His glory.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you daily)

Pray for those in full-time service

Pray the Lord uphold our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word and remain bold and courageous in the face of evil.  Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health.  Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them.

Pray for the World
