Out of my control

"My son [and daughter], do not forget my teaching.  But let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life, and peace they will add to you.

"Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart., so you will find favour and good repute in the sight of God and man.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.

"Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.  It will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones." Proverbs 3:1-8

"How are we to respond when we find ourselves seemingly in the hands of someone else, when we desperately need a favourable decision or a favourable action on that person's part?  Can we trust God that He can and will work in the heart of that individual to bring about His plan for us?"*

So many things are out of our hands...or so it seems.  Actually the Lord is the one directing all around us.  The Lord is watching and by His will allowing things to progress for His plan to unfold.

As His people we can choose to trust Him or not, knowing that others watch us and even that is part of His plan for them...and us.  And even when we do not trust Him, He is still there holding onto us.  That is how much He loves us!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
