"For
I consider that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits
eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
"For
the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will, but because of Him
who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from
its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of
God. For we know that the whole creation
groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now." Romans
8:18-22
"Many
are the sorrows of the wicked; but he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness
shall surround him." Psalm 32:10
"Offer
to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High; and
call upon Me in te day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honour Me.
" Psalm 50:15
"So the question naturally arises, 'Where is God in all of
this?' Can you really trust God when
adversity strikes and fills your life with pain? Does He indeed come to the rescue of those
who seek Him? Does He...deliver those
who call upon Him in the day of trouble?
Does the Lord's unfailing love surround the person who trusts in
Him?"*
Rescue can also mean you have peace in the storm surrounding you,
too!
Take care with love, especially His! Your servant and friend in Christ,
Darlene
