Mandisa - It's Not Over (Lyric
Video) ft. Jasmine Murray, Rita Springer
“And while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and
after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take eat;
this is My body.’ And when He had taken
a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you;
for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for
forgiveness of sins.
“’But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the
vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s
kingdom.’: Matthew 26:26-29
“When therefore he had gone out, Jesus said,’ Now is the
Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in Him; if God is glorified in Him, God
will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately. Little children, I am with you a little while
longer.
“’You shall seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, I now say
to you, also, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’ A new commandment I give to you, that you
love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one
another. By this all men will know that
you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.’ Simon Peter said to Him, ‘Lord, where are You
going?’ Jesus answered, ‘Where I go you
cannot follow Me now; but you shall follow later” John 13:31-36
Jesus had to deal with His disappointments, too and here at
the end of His teaching ministry, His disciples were reluctant even resistant
to the plan He was laying out that He was leaving and THEY were the ones He was
entrusting His vision to. But this
seemed impossible.
The disciples were mostly a rag-tag group of common labourers who had visions of taking up the sword and being at the head of a great army, led by the Messiah. Together they would defeat the Roman army and set up the Jewish kingdom.
But no!
He was leaving! Little did they
realise that He was not finished with them yet and they would feel His hand on
their lives to plant seeds for others to grow and harvest.
Take care, your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene (who
prays for you each morning).

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS
·
Isaias and Judith
(Ambassadors for Christ the Philippines) – the Philippines has been
devastated by constant batterings from typhoons. Their ministry (New Website for
information: https://afcph.org/
) faces so many challenges and now many of their leadership group and groups of
believers have lost everything and their worship centres have been
destroyed. There is also a growing threat
of China claiming their country. Pray
for those who lead, administer, work, teach and contribute to the
ministry. Pray our Father continues to
keep these servants strong, in good health, safe and supported and that they
keep a balance in their lives. They need funds badly now. Please pray for them. Go to the website or send encouragement to Isaias

compassion. Continue to grow their faith
so they can share Christ with others.

USA – Pray the Lord will demonstrate His power in
unexpected and uniting ways during these times of unrest and confusion. Help hearts settle and rest in Him
alone. Let the truth of God’s Word and
ways overcome the drive to destroy our founding, Bible-based values. For Christ-centre, Bible-based revival in the
USA and religious freedom for Christians wherever they may be.
·

that God will supply the funds needed for this extraordinary time.

USA President
Donald Trump – As Christians it
is our responsibility to pray for our leaders and trust that God has a plan for
the USA through this man. If you
doubt the importance of his appointment, just look at the baseless antagonism
against him. Surely Satan is NOT happy and means to thwart God’s plan. Pray someone helps President Trump and Melania understand the true meaning of a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pray they will both have an insatiable hunger to read God’s Word for
themselves. Pray God sends a
Bible-Believing Christian to regularly disciple them in the Truth. Pray God shuts the mouths of the false
prophets who regularly circle around them.
·
Me – I
need God’s guidance and wisdom in a situation.
Pray for those in full-time service
During this time, when the entire world is struggling to understand this new ‘plague’, it is critical for us to uphold our Christian leaders. They will be needed everywhere. Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.
Pray for those with ongoing health concerns
Many of us have family, friends and loved ones who are fragile health wise. It is important to protect them in practical ways and most important we must pray even more for them that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.
