“And they brought it to Jesus, and they threw their
garments on the colt, and put Jesus on it.
And as He was going, they were spreading their garments in the
road.
“And as He was now approaching, near the descent of the
Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully
with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen, saying, ‘Blessed is
the King who comes in the name of the Lord; peace in heaven and glory in the highest!’
“And some of the Pharisees in the multitude said to Him, ‘Teacher,
rebuke Your disciples!’ And He answered
and said, ‘I tell you if these become silent, the stones will cry out!’ And when He approached, He saw the city and
wept over it, saying, ‘If you had known in this day, even you, the things which
make for peace! But now they have become
hidden from your eyes.
“’ For the days shall come upon you when your enemies
will throw up a bank before you, and surround you, and hem you in on every
side, and will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they
will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognise the
time of your visitation.’” Luke 19:35-44
The problems the world has is a problem of relationships
between human beings and with a God who wants to love and be loved by them. I have shelves of books presenting the
dilemma of being human, they all expressed the same basic viewpoint: ‘Here’s what it feels like to be human.’
People disappointed with God are looking at Him from their point
of view. When we ask: Why is God unfair? Silent?
Hidden? We’re really asking, Why
is God unfair to me? Why does He seem
silent with me -- and hidden from me?
Have you ever wondered why God bothers at all? Why does He even want contact with human
beings in the first place? What does He
want and what interferes with that pursuit?
When we focus solely on our feelings we fail to listen carefully to His
feelings!
Take care, your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene (who
prays for you each morning).

USA President
Donald Trump – As Christians it
is our responsibility to pray for our leaders and know that God has a plan for
the USA through this man. If you doubt
the importance of his appointment, just look at the baseless antagonism against
him. Surely Satan is NOT happy and means to thwart God’s plan. Pray someone helps President Trump and Melania to understand the true meaning of a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pray they will both have an insatiable hunger to read God’s Word for
themselves. Pray God sends a Bible-Believing

Pray for those in full-time service
During this time, when the entire world is struggling to
understand this new ‘plague’, it is critical for us to uphold our Christian
leaders. They will be needed
everywhere. Pray for their wisdom,
safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.
Pray for those with ongoing health concerns
Many of us have family, friends and loved ones who are
fragile health wise. It is important to
protect them in practical ways and most important we must pray even more for
them that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.
