Judas an (Original Song)
By Supermanny73

"'On the tenth of this month they are each one to take a lamb for themselves, according to their fathers' households, a lamb for each household.  Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old –

“And you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill their lambs at twilight.  And they shall eat the flesh that same night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. –

“Now you shall eat it in this manner:  with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste - it is the Lord's Passover."   Exodus 12:3-11 (selected verses)

That was a great bit of lamb.  I do so enjoy Passover.  But it's better now that we can sit down and are finished with all the ceremony.  I wonder where all this fine wine came from. I don't remember authorizing it.

Wasn't that rich!  Jesus before me on His knees, towel around His waist?  He is so intense.  It's for sure He will need my practical ways when He is King.

Nevertheless, it was unsettling:  His hands, on my feet were so warm and comforting.  His touch so frighteningly moving.  Why do I suddenly feel so overwhelmed with grief!  What is happening to me?

"I do not speak of all of you, I know the ones I have chosen' but it is that the Scriptures may be fulfilled, 'He who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.

“’From now on I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that when it does occur, you may believe that I am He.  Truly, truly I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.'

“When Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, 'Truly, truly I say to you, that one of you will betray Me.' The disciples began looking at one another, at a loss to know of which one He was speaking.

“There was reclining on Jesus' breast one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.  Simon Peter therefore gestured to him and said to him, 'Tell us who it is of whom He is speaking.

“He leaning back thus on Jesus' breast, said to Him, 'Lord, who is it?'  Jesus therefore answered, 'That is the one for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him.'"  John 13:18-26a

Who would ever betray Him?  How could one of us be doing this?  I will personally pin them to the wall and beat him to a living pulp!  No one can stop this process now.  He will be King, and I will ensure it with all that I am, even if it takes my last breath.  I have too much at stake

"So, when He had dipped the morsel, He took and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.  And after the morsel, Satan then entered into him.  Jesus therefore said, to him. 'What you do, do quickly.' --."  John 13:26-29

What?  He hands me the bread of betrayal, dipped in such rich and costly wine.  Why does He look at me that way?  He must know I'm doing the right thing.

This charade must end and if He's just too cowardly to seize His destined inheritance, then I will be honoured to push Him to do it.

Tonight, it will happen and all of us who have stood by His side all these three years will be elevated to our rightful positions!  It will be glorious!

Those temple rulers were easy to fool, and they even gave me thirty pieces of silver to boot!  What a delicious bit of trickery.

"And so after receiving the morsel Judas went out immediately; and it was night."  John 13:30

Take care, your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene (who still prays for you each morning).

  • USA President Donald Trump as he leads us through this pandemic – It is especially our responsibility as Christians to remember God has a plan through this man.  If you doubt the importance of his appointment, just look at how much antagonism there is against him.  Surely Satan is NOT happy and means to thwart God’s plan.  Pray someone helps President Trump understand the true meaning of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that he will have a driving hunger to read God’s Word for himself and that God sends a Bible-believing Christian to regularly disciple him in the Truth and that God shuts the mouths of the false prophets who circle around him.
  • Fred – is making plans to move from California to Tennessee in the first quarter of 2020.  Pray for his wise attention to detail, stamina and roaring good health as he makes these life changes.
  • Tracey – Pray Tracey finds a new role to satisfy her and allow her to grow and share her skills and wisdom.
  • Me – New project going well.  Thank you for praying.  They are extending my contract.  Laptop restored!

PRAY FOR THOSE WITH ONGOING HEALTH CONCERNS

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones who are fragile health-wise.  It is important to protect them in wise and practical ways and most important we must pray even more for them that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.
  • My brother, Tim – Pray Tim continues to be wise and patient in managing his COPD (chronic-obstructive pulmonary disease) and arthritis.  Pray his doctors are attentive, wise and compassionate.  Pray for Barb, his wife, for her strength and compassion.  (Thank you, Father, for growing their faith and health so they can share You with others.)

  • Ray’s Dad(Ray Sr.) struggling through the challenges of cancer treatment.  Pray the Lord will touch Ray Sr.’s heart so he reaches out for the only hand that can save him -- the compassionate Lord Jesus.
  • Sergio – found a job for now, but it is wearing him out physically.  His diabetes is presently under control and he’s found a place to live. Thank you for praying and please do not stop.
