Yea? So What...!

"But you did not learn Christ in this way, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life,

"you lay aside the old self which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth, each one of you, with his neighbour, for we are members of one another.  Be angry and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity." Ephesians 4:20-26

"Anger in an of itself is not sin. -- it is possible to feel what Cain felt without doing what Cain did.  Anger is not a sin, but it can lead to sin.  Perhaps your anger doesn't lead you to shed blood, but it does make you touchy, irritable, quick tempered, quick to take offense?"*

Sometimes we just purpose not to LISTEN to the Holy Spirit in our lives.  We walk away from the dry pages of our Bible.  We do not listen to those who are in our lives as disciplers.  When we do, many foul things can seep around our feet...the most dangerous of all is anger.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene
