Sprinkled, Spattered, Dusted and Immersed!

"As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth.  And His disciples asked Him, saying, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?'

"Jesus answered, 'It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was in order that the works of God might be displayed in him.  We must work the works of Him who sent Me, as long as it is day; night is coming when no man can work.  While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.'

"When He had said this, He spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle, and applied the clay to his eyes, and said to him, 'Go, wash in the pool of Siloam' (which is translated, Sent).  And so he went away and washed, and came back seeing." John 9:1-7

"You have not been sprinkled with forgiveness.  You have not been spattered with grace.  You have not been dusted with kindness.  You have been immersed in it.  You are submerged in mercy.  You are a minnow in the ocean of His mercy.  Let it change you!"*

If you are not familiar with the story of the man born blind, you might want to keep reading in John.  You likely remember how he got in a bit of trouble because he was healed.

His life was changed...CHANGED forever!  He was immersed in the grace of His loving Saviour.  The result was that he could see things about his life and see things around him that he could change....and I am certain he did.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene
