How patient can He be?

"Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?" Romans 2:4

"But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe' for there is no distinction;

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publically as a propitiation [full, complete and perfect payment] in His blood through faith.

"This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." Romans 3:21-26

"And, oh my, those promises:  'Get me out of this, and I'll never tell another lie.'  'Count on me to stand up for You from now on.'  'I'm done with temper tantrums, Lord.'

"Goodness gracious.  If broken promises were lumber, we could build a subdivision.  Doesn't God have ample reason to walk out on us?"*

Right now His patience and love and His mercy have forgiven you of a life helpless against sin's temptation.  Choosing to surrender to Him and trust in Him is a moment-by-moment challenge for all of us.

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene

URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

  • ·        Isaias, Judith and daughter, Agnes have been on the road conducting training in several places in the Philippines.  Judith has fallen ill.  Her blood pressure reached alarming levels and she is now in hospital, requiring emergency gall bladder surgery.  Please be with Isaias and Agnes during this time.  Surgery and hospital costs $5,000.  Please pray the Lord finds members of His family who are ready, willing and able to help them.  They give so much to so many for so little.  Perhaps you would like to learn more about their wonderful work there.  Search Ambassadors for Christ Philippines (Http://www.afcphilippines.com/) and look for Isaias Catorce.
