You Must Remember This...

"Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion!  Shout in triumph, O Israel!  Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!  The Lord has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies.

"The King of Israel, the Lord is in your midst; you will fear disaster no more.  In that day it will be said to Jerusalem; do not be afraid, O Zion; do not let your hands fall limp.

:The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior.  He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy." Zephaniah 3:14-17

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

"For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren; and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

"What then shall we say to these things?  If God is for us, who is against us?  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" Romans 8:28-32

"Now God sometimes allows people to treat us unjustly.  Sometimes He even allows their actions to seriously affect our careers or our futures viewed on a human plane.  But God NEVER allows people to make decisions about us that undermines HIS plan for us.

"God is for us, we are His children, He delights in us.  -- We can put this down as a bedrock truth:  God will never allow any action against you that is not in accord with His will for you.  And His will is always directed to our good."*

Reminding ourselves of, and resting in, the absolute knowledge that we are in the sovereign and loving care of our Heavenly Father, can give us the strength we need to get through the worst of things!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene

PLEASE NOTE THE PRAYER UPDATES! AND THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO ARE FAITHFUL TO PRAY AND TO KEEP ME UPDATED ON GOD'S PROGRESS!

PRAISE & THANKSGIVING:  For probably a couple of years now we have been praying for God’s grace on USA & REVIVAL for His children there.  Here is what I received today from Patti:

"I just want to share what I think is a positive happening to your prayer for: God’s grace on USA & REVIVAL for His children there:

"Just recently the U S Supreme Court justices upheld the right to have prayer to open town government meetings! (An atheist and a Jew apparently protested it), and the Supreme Court voted 5-4 that it did not violate the Constitution.

"Also, just recently there has been a surge of Christian movies at the theatres across the nation! The first one (that I did see and enjoy) is "God is Not Dead", then there is "Heaven is for Real" (I read the book and saw the movie -- both very good based on a true account).

"Then coming out this weekend is "Mom's Night Out" which I don't know is necessarily Biblically based, as the other two I mentioned, but it is made by the same ones who made "Fireproof" a couple of years ago. Anyway, my hopes are up that the Christians are finally taking a stand instead of being as passive as we have in the past."

PRAY FOR THOSE WITH HEALTH CONCERNS:  Pray for my brother, Tim, that his COPD (cardio-pulmonary artery disease) is manageable for him and that he will have the patience and wisdom to cope with the limitations.

Things seem to finally be settling down for Fion and his family.  Please keep them in your prayers.
