Any Evidence?

“Behold, days are coming,’ declares the Lord God, ‘when I will send a famine on the land.  Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, but rather for hearing the words of the Lord.  And people will stagger from sea to sea, and from north even to the east; they will go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.  In that day the beautiful virgins and the young men will faint from thirst.’” Amos 8:11-13

I still carry around this little business-card size card with a little image of someone’s idea of what Jesus looks like and He is saying these words:  “If you were arrested today for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you.”  Some days it is important to ask that question because the world is dying to know the Truth.

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene
