“And the Lord God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, cursed are you more than all cattle, and more than every besast of the field; on your belly shall you go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life; and I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel.’” Genesis 3:14-15
It is easy to forget that Satan did not begin his existence as evil, but choose to put his thoughts above God’s. From the first sin (to not trust God’s Word and to believe you know better than He does about something), God began to unfold His plan to rescue and save humanity. Here is the first prophecy about Jesus, spoken to one of God’s angels.
