WeakEnd Assignment – The Key Difference
David Lose from Luke 18:9-14
By A sermon for Every Sunday
“Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’ Martha said to Him, ‘I know that he will rise
again in the resurrection on the last day.’
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life;
he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and
believes in Me will never die. Do you
believe this?’
“She said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord; I have believed that You
are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world.’” John
11:25-27

aside an hour and find a place where you will not be interrupted.
2. Bring
your Bible, notebook, something to write with and a refreshment.
3. Quieten
your heart and pray that the Lord will help this assignment cement your
understanding of this concept so you will be more trusting and so you may have
a new way to share this with others.
4. Open
your notebook to a fresh page and date it.
Open your Bible to Ephesians 3:5-6.
5. Write
out these two verses at the top of the page in your notebook and underline or
circle words and phrases that seem most important to you in these verses.
6. Carefully
watch the video featured above, taking notes as you listen to the words and the
meanings they convey.
7. Write
out the difference between being righteous (doing the right things right) and
being justified (just as if you had never sinned).
8. Thank
your Heavenly Father that He sent His only Son to guarantee your justification
by paying the entire debt for all your sins – past, present and future to save
you from having to do enough good works to please Him and hope you get into Heaven
one day.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you daily)
