Shelly Hamilton by Majestic Music (3 min 53 sec)

“But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and thought the rivers, they will not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.

“’For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in your place.  Since you are precious in My sight, since you are honoured and I love you, I will give other men in your place and other peoples in exchange for your life.  Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west.

“’I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’  Bring My sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth, everyone who is called by My name, and whom I have created for My glory, whom I have formed, even whom I have made.’” Isaiah 43:1-7

Fear is subtle and fear can be sudden.  It can be like a mosquito buzzing in your ear, distracting you from the Truth you know.  Fear can drive you or freeze you to the spot.  There is good fear that protects and fear that makes you stumble.  Whatever fear you are facing, this passage in Isaiah offers you assurance that you may fear, but you never face fear alone without the loving care and compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays for you daily)

Pray for those in full-time service

Pray the Lord upholds our Christian leaders – that they never compromise God’s Word and remain bold and courageous in the face of evil.  Pray for their wisdom, safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns

Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health.  Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them.
