according to the BIBLE? By DLM Christian Lifestyle
[Jesus teaching] “’Do not let your heart be troubled –
afraid, cowardly. Believe confidently in
God and trust in Him, have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and
believe also in Me. In My Father’s house
are many dwelling places.
“’If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am
going there to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I
will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.’” John 14:2-3
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God –
that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers – is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“Jesus answered him, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say
to you, unless a person is born again – reborn from above – spiritually transformed,
renewed, sanctified, he cannot ever see and experience the kingdom of God.’”
John 3:3
“There will no longer exist anything that is cursed
because sin and illness and death are gone; and the throne of God and of the
Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve and worship Him with great
awe and joy and loving devotion;” Revelation 22:3
“Heaven will be populated with those who have received God’s
Son as their personal Saviour; those who have chosen to take God’s way of
salvation. Eternity will be occupied
with enjoying the glory of God and serving Him.[1]”
As a child, I imagined I would bring my toothbrush to Heaven. Why, you ask?
Well, I knew it would be overwhelmingly wonderful to be there and see
all the angels and mansions and stuff. I
knew my heart would be so grateful, I would be on my knees with my toothbrush
in hand, cleaning out the spaces between the bricks of gold that Heaven is
supposed to be paved with.
Then, I met Jesus. He
took my hand and my sin and guilt and showed me how deep His love for me is. I learned from His Word that cleaning out cervices
between bricks for eternity was not what He died for me for.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still prays
for you each day)

must be made.

Pray for those with ongoing health concerns
Many of us have family, friends and loved ones with fragile health. Pray God takes special care with them and protects them in practical ways and that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.
Pray for the World
