Big Daddy Weave - I Know (Official Lyric Video)
[God speaking] “’To
whom then will you liken Me that I should be his equal?’ says the Holy
One. Lift up your eyes on high and see
who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He
calls them all by name. Because of the
greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is
missing.
“’Why do you
say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, ‘My
way is hidden from the Lord, and the justice due me escapes the notice of my
God’? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of
the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired.
“’ His
understanding is inscrutable. He gives
strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and
vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new
strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not become weary.’”
Isaiah 40:25-31
Over the last
few weeks we have been considering that there is a perspective of this world
that can help us see our actions through the eyes of the Lord. For the WeakEnd Assignment, set aside some
quiet, uninterruptable time, grab your Bible, notebook, writing element, something
to drink and settle in.
Pray the Lord
gives you new insights as you consider these questions.
1. What
do you know or imagine it feels like to be a parent? What is it like to be a child? Now apply this to what we are learning.
2. Why
do you think God began to withdraw from man?
Can you relate this to how we react when someone we hope to develop into
a friend continues to disappoint us?
Take care, your servant and friend in Christ, Darlene (who
prays for you each morning).

of mind and God’s guidance.
·
USA President
Donald Trump – As Christians it
is our responsibility to pray for our leaders and know that God has a plan for
the USA through this man. If you doubt
the importance of his appointment, just look at the baseless antagonism against
him. Surely Satan is NOT happy and means to thwart God’s plan. Pray someone helps President Trump and Melania to understand the true meaning of a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pray they will both have an insatiable hunger to read God’s Word for
themselves. Pray God sends a
Bible-Believing Christian to regularly disciple them in the Truth. Pray God shuts the mouths of the false prophets
who regularly circle around them.
·
Isaias and Judith
(Ambassadors for Christ the Philippines) – carrying on their
fruitful ministry in the Philippines, despite the many challenges they must
daily work with, including the impending threat of China claiming their country. Pray for those who lead, administer, work,
teach and contribute to the ministry.
Pray our Father continues to keep these servants strong, in good health,
safe and supported and that they keep a balance in their lives. They need funds badly
now. Please

Pray for those in full-time service
During this time, when the entire world is struggling to
understand this new ‘plague’, it is critical for us to uphold our Christian
leaders. They will be needed
everywhere. Pray for their wisdom,
safety, ingenuity, strength and for their families.
Pray for those with ongoing health concerns
Many of us have family, friends and loved ones who are
fragile health wise. It is important to
protect them in practical ways and most important we must pray even more for
them that the Lord will have mercy on them during this challenging time.
