Her Cup Runneth Over

"And I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'Come out of her, my people, that you may not participate in her sins and that you may not receive of her plagues; for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

"'Pay her back even as she has paid, and give back to her double according to her deeds; in the cup which she has mixed, mix twice as much for her.'" Revelation 18:4-8

"'Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.  You will know them by their fruits.  Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they?

"'Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  So then, you will know them by their fruits.'" Matthew 16-20

This symbolic woman has chosen earthly pleasures, wealth and fame and a relationship with the most evil one of all.  And she has systematically fooled many along the way to follow her down the same path.

Every day we have choices to follow the Lord or follow what we think or feel is best in our own eyes.  How can we know the Truth?  We need to study the sixty-six love letters the Lord has left in our hands -- more and more -- so we are better prepared for our every decision!

Take care with love, especially His!  Your servant and friend in Christ, who prays for you each morning, Darlene

Please note the many prayer updates!
