Amazing !

“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things.” Romans 8:29-32 (The New King James Version, thankfully still provided by the Gideons!)

He knew us before the beginning. He loved us enough to devise a plan to grow us up to realise how much we need Him. He called us intimately by name to live a life cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ -- so effective was this act that all who believe this stand just as if they had never sinned. The result is the promise of a perfect eternity as His child. But some wonder if they can trust such an amazing promise of pure grace...well they can when they “realise” and accept that Jesus choose to die rather than live without them.

[Jesus said:] “’For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’” John 3:16
