A Commentator

“For I long to see you in order that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. And I do not want you to unaware, brethren, that often I have planned to come to you (and have been prevented thus far) in order that I might obtain some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles. I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. Thus, for my part, I am eager to preach the Gospel to you also who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes,” Romans 1:11-16a

For nearly ten years now, I have (almost) daily peered into the amazing love letter the Lord has left behind for me and tried to open it bit-by-bit to each of you and as I approach Romans, this most humbling of books, I realise that I am but a simple commentator who is gifted and tasked to share personal insights as an offering first to my Father and then as a mini-reminder to some of His children. What a blessing to be used by Him in the way He has called me! Thank you for reading them and being faithful in praying.

Know His Word. Take care. Enjoy Easter for ALL it is worth! Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene

PS: Ongoing Requests: Denny - Open heart surgery on 14th. Bill - unspoken request; Australians recovering from natural disasters ; encouragement for support workers still labouring. God’s hands on new USA political administration. Barb to find the new job God has for her; wisdom for doctors caring for Doris, Gary, Michael, David & Adrian. Randy’s family moving to Canada and his ministry. New work projects for me. Amazing ways God is using the WeakDay Devotions lately!
