Getting Grace

“Therefore, gird your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." I Peter 1:13

“For by grace you have been saved through faith’ and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:2-3

Grace is a pure and simple gift from the Lord. Our understanding of grace comes from our exposure and understanding of the Lord through His Word. The purpose of grace is to demonstrate His workmanship in our hearts. It is what many find attractive about the Lord. He gives grace where and when it is needed, and it remains a mysterious component of our salvation.

PS: Prayer Requests: The funeral for Carla’s mother is now over. Thanks for praying for the entire family during this time. Gregg must sell his home in the UK. Reg’s ministry. Doctors and specialists caring for Lyle’s brother, David, Adrian and Randy. My need. (Many have written about this. The request has been briefly detailed on the blog site.).
