Psalm 139:1

“O Lord, Thou hast searched me and known me.” Psalm 139:1

“Thou hast tried my heart; Thou hast visited me by night; Thou hast tested me and dost find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.” Psalm 17:3

“Would not God find this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.” Psalm 44:21

“But Thou dost examine my heart’s attitude toward Thee. Drag them off like sheep for the slaughter and set them apart for a day of carnage!” Jeremiah 12:3

The heart, thought to be the origination of all your thoughts and intentions, really meant the heart of your thinking. Here you can consider the true visibility of your own heart. God sees your pain and your progress. Yet His focus is not your outward actions but the “attitude of your heart”. And the attitude of your heart is what is played out in your everyday actions.

Stay near God's Word. Take care. Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene

PS: Continue to pray for Carla and her family, especially her Mom. Pray for those struggling through strange weather at this time.

Pls pray for my husband to be strong in the lord and to have a strong marriage. We are so discouraged right now because we are looking for work and no doors are being opened. I know God is bigger than my circumstances. Thank you for reminding me that God knows through your devotions. Be encouraged.

My dear friend & sister in Christ, all our prayers are with you & with your husband.

I am reminded of Nancy Missler's series on "Agape Love". If you can find her notes or tapes it could be a great support for you (especially) as you support your husband through this educational, desert time journey in the Lord.

Take care with His love, D
