Enemy Beside You?

“For it is not an enemy who reproaches me, then I could bear it; nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me, then I could hide myself from him. But it is you, a man my equal, my companion and my familiar friend. We who had sweet fellowship together, walked in the house of God in the throng.” Psalm 55:12-14

Sometimes we are tested by the most unexpected people; and many from WITHIN the Church (Body of believers) -- who remind us of our own humanity and selfishness.

“Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are Christ Jesus.” Romans 7:25-8:1

Run to God's Word. Take care. Your servant & friend in Christ, Darlene
