By Wretched
“God, having spoken to the fathers long ago in the voices
and writings of the prophets, in many separate revelations -- each of which set
forth a portion of the truth, and in many ways, has in these last days spoken
with finality to us in the person of One who is, by His character and nature,
His Son namely Jesus, whom He appointed heir and lawful owner of all things,
through whom also He created the universe -- that is, the universe as a
space-time -matter continuum.
“The Son is the radiance and only expression of the glory
of our awesome God reflecting God’s Shekinah glory, the Light-being, the
brilliant light of the divine, and the exact representation and perfect imprint
of His Father’s essence and upholding and maintaining and propelling all things
-- the entire physical and spiritual universe -- by His powerful word -- carrying
the universe along to its predetermined goal.
“When He Himself -- and no other -- had by offering
Himself on the cross as a sacrifice for sin, accomplished purification from
sins and established our freedom from guilt,
He sat down -- revealing His completed work at the right hand of the
Majesty on high ….” Hebrews 1:1-4a The Amplified Bible
God is not playing games with us. He wants us to know what His standards
are. “The Bible is a dependable source
and it is our standard. By it we test
all teachings and dogmas and doctrines just as we gauge all distance by linear
rule.”[1]
The problem remains that most of us do not take time to read
it. I suppose some of you who read this
devotion wonder why I go to the trouble to type out God’s Word when you could
read it for yourself.
Yet, I know we lead busy lives and have many
distractions. I pray God uses the short
bits of reading and the WeakEnd Assignments to feed your hearts.
Take care with love, especially His, Darlene (who still
prays for you each day)

there is an android ‘Google

back surgery and is recovering. Please
visit their new website: https://afcph.org/ to learn more.
Pray our Father keep these servants strong and restores their
health. They
still need an additional $4,000 for the surgery. Thank the Lord for those who have now donated
