Now I See…
“Then Job answered the Lord, and said, ‘I know that Thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of Thine can be thwarted. Who is this that counsels without knowledge?
“’Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask Thee, and do Thou instruct me, I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear; but now my eyes see Thee; therefore I retract. And I repent in dust in ashes.’” Job 42:1-6
When you have a ‘wake-up’ realization of the overwhelming greatness and tenderness and wisdom of the Lord, it changes how you see all things.
Job’s tragic losses, his efforts to understand, His wife’s advice, his friends trying to comfort him, his despair and argument to God – all converge. Then, God gives Job a lengthy and overwhelming answer and Job realises what a glorious privilege he has to be God’s example for us in a way that will last for eternity. To me that is just amazing!

NOTES: I choose to believe the Bible because it's a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They reported supernatural events that took place before, of specific prophecies; and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.
The Five Solas: Individuals are saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone to the glory of God alone!
