Thank You for rejection!
“When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran away and reported it in the city and out in the country. The people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened.
“Those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had been made well. And all the people of the country of the Gerasenes and the surrounding district asked Him to leave them, for they were gripped with great fear; and He got into a boat and returned.
“But the man from whom the demons had gone out was begging Him that he might accompany Him; but He sent him away, saying, ‘Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you.’ So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.” Luke 8:34–39
Jesus was rejected (Isaiah 53:3) and ultimately walked alone to fulfil His mission for us. We all meet rejection and it can be stronger once we trust in the Lord.
It seems to me that rejection has many shades and many intensities in our lives. And yet, rejection is fully within the hands and plans of our Lord for each of us (Psalm 139). He knows us so intimately that He knows where and when to apply rejection before and after we confess Him as our Saviour.
It is easier to focus on the pain we experience when we are rejected, rather than remember that ‘God don’t make no junk!’ Rejection has a purpose. When we feel rejected, we must take a moment to consider how it strengthens our resolve and our actions to serve Him even more intimately.

NOTES: I choose to believe the Bible because it's a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They reported supernatural events that took place before, of specific prophecies; and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.
The Five Solas: Individuals are saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone to the glory of God alone!
