How Shall They Hear…?
“Again He went out from the region of Tyre, and came through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, within the region of Decapolis. They brought to Him one who was deaf and spoke with difficulty, and they implored Him to lay His hand on him.
“Jesus took him aside from the crowd, by himself, and put His fingers into his ears, and after spitting, He touched his tongue with the saliva; and looking up to heaven with a deep sign, He said to him, ‘Ephphatha!’, that is, ‘Be opened!’
“And his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was removed, and he bean speaking plainly. And He gave them orders not to tell anyone; but the more He ordered them, the more widely they continued to proclaim it. They were utterly astonished, saying, ‘He has done all things well; He makes even the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.’” Mark 7:31-37
Have you ever met and spoken with someone who cannot hear or speak? Can you imagine how difficult it would be to share the Gospel with them? Did you know there is a unique ministry that is devoted to their needs?
Deaf Ministries International’s mission is to bring the Gospel, education and employment (in that order) to the Deaf all around the world. And they do. It is my humbling pleasure to know their international director, Andrew Miller.
He travels to the specific countries (see the web site) to help others know how to share the Good News with those who cannot ‘hear’ this life-saving message. Please pray and thank God for Andrew (and his family) and those who labour in this ‘silent harvest field’ (John 4:35) for all their sacrifices and for this critical ministry.

NOTES: I choose to believe the Bible because it's a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They reported supernatural events that took place before, of specific prophecies; and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.
The Five Solas: Individuals are saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone to the glory of God alone!
