Did you know this about the East Gate: https://youtube.com/shorts/pV78K5_ttIE?si=vMfAS83KbCwcxZlo
“Then He brought me back by the way of the outer gate of the sanctuary, which faces the east; and it was shut. The Lord said to me, ‘This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it, for the Lord God of Israel has entered by it; therefore it shall be shut.” Ezekiel 44:1-2
“Behold, a day is coming for the Lord when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.
“Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south.” Zechariah 14:1-4
“And I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.” Revelation 19:11-13
The East Gate of Jerusalem is the gate Jesus walked through on His last visit to Jerusalem (Luke 19:28-48). Today, that same gate is not only bricked up in defiance, but the original gate He entered the city through has long since been buried underground. But His return is unstoppable and is promised to be dramatic.
In the past, to thwart this prophecy, a burial site was also established there (knowing most of us would avoid walking over where someone is buried) -- right in the way -- in front of the gates. Yet -- and wonderfully of all -- Jesus is King of Kings and over all. When He returns, He will not hesitate to fulfil prophecy and walk over those graves and through that -- now opened -- East Gate.
Sometimes we can get so focused on the End Times, that we are no earthly good. Today, before He returns, God wants our hearts and our actions to reflect our changed lives -- dependent and obedient to Jesus.
Not just for our own good, but so that we can stand as examples of His promises to save the unworthy. In this way, the lost around us may grow curious to know more about the One we follow Who changed our lives for eternity.

NOTES: I choose to believe the Bible because it's a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They reported supernatural events that took place before, of specific prophecies; and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.
The Five Solas: Individuals are saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone to the glory of God alone!
