The Bible is God’s message to us. God promised in Isaiah 55:11, that reading and hearing it can bring us to an understanding of God’s loving and gracious plan for our lives can lead us to trust Him for our eternal salvation. Once we have committed our lives to be His child, our ‘healthy new life’ is nourished and strengthened by reading, listening to and studying His Word.
One extra benefit that comes with knowing your Also, as you learn new things and memorise His Word, you can see new ways to share salvation with others. For instance, with my Daddy, it took a verse from the book of Ecclesiastes ( I will share it tomorrow) that was the ‘door opener’ for him to start reading the Word for himself. Once he did…God used it to save him.
For the next little while, I want to share some neat discoveries about the Bible that you could use to create interest in the Bible with others…like the above verse, that contains the longest name in the Bible, the name of the son of the prophet Isaiah.
